Mr Batchelor took his Year 8s to Doodelpots recently, in order to paint their computer aided designs onto the the real thing! Is was the culimation of a scheme of work that involved researching different artists and learning to use design software.
Bryan Tan from year 8 said: “Last week we went to Doodlepots in Whitby. If you are wondering what Doodlepots is, it is basically a place where we could paint our own plates. Before we painted them we decided to plan it first in ICT to know what we were doing. We could do any design, based on well-known Art styles. Luke did a star and Owen did a swimming pool with a person. We all had great fun and enjoyed ourselves. If you are planning to go, have fun!”
