Recently, Year 7 have been investigating the issues of litter and recycling and part of this study included a litter survey of the school site. Many different types of litter were found but paper and plastic seemed to be the most common. The Year 7s are now working on some posters to promote binning litter properly and also on recycling whenever possible. They will be put in strategic places around the school site in the hope that they will positively influence the minority who are not ‘doing their bit!’
