How will you celebrate World Mental Health Day? Ensuring we are aware of our mental health, nurturing it and supporting each other are all part of Fyling Hall’s pastoral care ethos. With this in mind, plans are in place at Fyling Hall for World Mental Health Day on Thursday, 10th October.
Firstly, the day will be a non uniform day. Students are asked wear bright colours . . . yellow, if you can! Those who do are asked to contribute £1 (or more) to raise much needed funds. Whether pupils choose a subtle splash of colour or dress like sunshine from head-to-toe, together we can show young people they’re not alone with their mental health.
Thursday will also see the launch of our new Wellness Room. Located in Woodside, the room will be used by pupils and staff. It is hoped that it will be utilised by those who need a quiet space to relax and unwind from the stresses that can overwhelm us if we let them.
Thank you in advance for your support!
