When your child first starts at secondary school, sixth form seems light years away. Yet GCSEs soon come round and by Year 11 it’s time to think about what they might study next and where they will continue their education.

Many factors will influence your decision. . . subjects & timetabling, results, university application, teaching, inspection reports, location, extra-curricular activities, class size, facilities. . .. and the list goes on!

At Fyling Hall School (FHS) we pride ourselves on offering quality education from Reception to Y13.  As your child’s educational journey progresses, we very much hope that FHS will be continue to be your first choice should your child choose to pursue a sixth form education.

To support you in your decision-making process we are holding a Focus on Sixth Form, an open discussion on Sixth Form Education on 15th November 2018, starting at 7pm.  Primarily targeted at parents and students in Y9 and above we will address the above factors and give you a greater insight into Sixth Form life at FHS.

So that we can best anticipate numbers, please kindly confirm your space to Angelique on a.russell@fylinghall.org who will also address any queries. Please note that this evening is open to all parents and appropriately aged students including those at FHS and those not, so should you know anyone else who would benefit, please do extend our invitation.

We hope to see you there.
