“The birds were very powerful and there was a huge owl that Alan held. The birds of prey were tied on a long rope but whilst we were holding them they were only clipped on to the heavy glove we were wearing. I held an owl called Toby who was beautiful and sleek. I learnt loads of information and interesting facts such as: Toby (the owl I was holding) ate two baby chicks a day and that some birds can fly nearly 300mph. There were loads of interesting things to buy, see and read in the centre. To make the day even more enjoyable, the weather was lovely. Overall , it was an amazing day and experience.”
