On the Friday before half term the Junior School spent the day in pink in order to
raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign charity.

We all had a lot of fun in our pink outfits and taking part in pink themed activities; these included biscuit decorating, pink pass the parcel and making ping pong balls hover in the air using pink straws. We also decorated our flamingos for our sponsored flamingo flapping fun game. We had to use a book to flap the paper flamingo across the sports hall as many times as we possibly could.
There were some prizes to be won. Jude won the prize for ‘The Most Stylish Flapper’; Harry in a morph suit won the prize for ‘Best Dressed’; and Phoebe won the prize for ‘Most Money Raised’, achieving an astounding amount of £501.65!

The total has yet to be counted as we still have some sponsorship to collect; however our total to date is well over £700! Congratulations Fyling Hall Junior School! You have collected such a large amount for a worthy cause and we know this money will make a difference!
