Thinking ahead to next year and preparing for university or the world of work Yr12 have been taking part in activities to help them sell themselves effectively through their personal statement or cv. Pupils worked in teams to draw their ‘perfect’ student, the ideal person to benefit from university life.
As you can see they came up with some very creative ideas representing sporting skills, looking after the environment, tolerance of others beliefs’, independence, organisation, getting a job, thinking of others by charity work or donating blood and many other desirable attributes that universities and employers would value. They will then focus on their own skills and attributes as they write their personal statement or cv over the coming weeks. It is never too early to start thinking ahead to next year and preparing!
