Ballet Success Story

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Anya Legg in year 10 has been accepted onto the Yorkshire Ballet School Easter Residential. Anya who has danced with St Hilda’s Studio of Classical Ballet in Sleights for 10 years applied for a 2nd year and has been accepted.

There are very limited places and many pupils attending are already in professional training, so Anya’s achievement is exceptional! The residential aims to give students with talent and ambition experience of world class tuition.

Anya will be taught by tutors and principals from the Royal Academy of Dance, including Birmingham Royal Ballet. What an amazing experience for Anya and huge congratulations for all her hard work.

Sharing Dance with Younger Pupils

Anya will be leading a junior dance club after Easter. We are really looking forward to her sharing her expertise from the Easter Residential.

If you’d like to know more about our weekly clubs, please get in touch.

Students joining as boarders who wish to continue dancing at a high level can contact us to discuss options in the area.
