Fyling Hall’s Forms 4 and 5 are studying life cycles this term, and they have started by learning about the different methods of reproduction in plants. During a recent outdoor science lesson, the pupils took cuttings from honeysuckle and weeping willow plants under the watchful eye of our resident gardening experts, Marina and Trevor. After carefully preparing and planting their cuttings, all that our budding gardeners can do now is wait and see whether they take root or not! All will be revealed in a few weeks, but in the meantime, thank you, Marina and Trevor, for a fascinating and productive lesson. You showed us that studying life cycles can be great fun!
