I’m Natasha Milner, and I will be starting work as an English teacher at Fyling Hall School in September. It’s been a dream of mine to work at Fyling Hall ever since I visited Robin Hood’s Bay on a family day out around 15 years ago. We love walking, so were following a public footpath through the school and I remember saying, ‘I would love to work here.’ And here I am, all these years later! At the time, I was still at University as a mature student so it didn’t seem possible- it just goes to show that you never know what the future holds. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone and becoming part of Fyling Hall, instead of just someone passing through. I’ve already met lots of staff and students on my interview day and was made to feel like I belonged, even before I was offered the job. I only wish my two children were still young enough to attend school as I’m sure they would have both loved it at Fyling Hall. See you all very soon and enjoy the summer!
