Fyling Hall’s Sixth Form are delighted with their fundraising. With the last day of the Autumn Term as the final fundraising push, it was the perfect excuse to everyone to get out their Christmas jumpers. Students were asked to contribute £1 if wearing a jumper and £2 if not. Of course, donations were optional, particularly after such generosity over the term.

Throughout the term, Fyling Hall students have supported Anthony Nolan’s Hero Project both in terms of education and fundraising.  Head Girl, Phoebe Russell, commented,

“We were absolutely delighted when we heard the amazing news that Junior School pupil, Evie, had found her hero.  Knowing Evie has made our efforts quite personal, but we know that others are still looking for their hero.  We were also keen to reach our target.  Before Christmas Jumper Day we were just shy of raising £1,000. To reach more than this is just amazing!”

Thanks to the continued generosity of our parents, students and staff we are delighted to report that we have raised just over an amazing £1,200.  With each swab kit costing £40, funding 30 more kits will make a difference for those still looking for a hero. We are sure you will agree . . . Our Sixth Form should be delighted with their fundraising.
