Form 2 have been studying rocks and minerals in Science. To exemplify the structure of sedimentary rocks, the pupils constructed their own rocks using milk chocolate, white chocolate and plain chocolate. The chocolate was grated into fine particles, then layers were formed and pressure applied. When the finished chocolate rocks were cut in half, the different layers were revealed very effectively. This experiment went down very well!
