Another Local Gem!

Just under two months to go until the Rose Garden Festival and we’re thrilled to introduce the next band – Back in the Habit! This dynamic 10-piece function band is a local favourite. They bring an electrifying mix of soul, funk, rock, and pop to the stage, guaranteed to get everyone on their feet!

Featuring a talented lineup of musicians, including three members from Fyling Hall School: Mrs. Swain (Head of Music), Paul Whittaker (Guitar Teacher), and Bob Butterfield (Woodwind Teacher), alongside Jonathan Jeeves, the husband of one of our staff members.

Haven’t got your tickets yet? Buy them online here now or in person from the Fyling Hall School office (cash only at the office please). Only £10 in advance and £5 for ages 5-18 for a whole afternoon of amazing live music and lots of fun. Your ticket purchase will help to support the amazing work of the organisation, Ovarian Cancer Action.

This afternoon festival  is for the entire community with bands form around the local area – tell your friends, bring your picnic blankets and get ready for some great music in the stunning Fyling Hall Rose Garden.

About Ovarian Cancer Action

Ovarian Cancer Action fund research that focuses on the prevention, early detection, and treatment of ovarian cancer. They have a vision to transform survival rates for women through improvements in knowledge, treatment breakthroughs, and fairness. So far the charity has invested over £12 million in pioneering scientific and clinical research, opened the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre and run the HHMT International Forum on Ovarian Cancer  – which brings together the world’s leading scientists to determine research priorities around the globe.

They are commintted to ensuring women are able to access the best care and information regardless of age, ethnicity, or location, to have the best chance of survival. Ovartian Cancer Action want their lifesvaing awareness campaigns to reach more people and save more lives by equipping them with information that can help with prevention and early diagnosis.
