On Saturday 13th January, Luca Park, Ruby Wormald (Year 7), Fran Sutterby and Sophia Ferrer (Year 9) ran in the North Yorkshire cross country county trials, representing the Scarborough and district area, and were competing against the best 24 pupils in the county from; York, Hambleton and Craven, which were held in Knaresborough.  The standard of competition was extremely high, and the course proved very challenging for all the runners participating.  This trial formed the selection process for pupils to attend the English Schools national competition.

Although the pupils did not progress to the next round, it was a fantastic achievement to represent their district.  Well done to all!
