reheasalOn Wednesday 2nd July there will be a night of Shakespeare in the Rose Garden at Fyling Hall School.
 
Year 7 will be performing Macbeth. The rehearsals are going really well, it has been difficult but very enjoyable.
 
“I am playing Banquo and Malcolm” says Jenna. “My favourite scene is the final scene because it has fighting.”
 
Sophie agrees “The final scene has come together really well and the amount of time that has gone into it is phenominal!”
 
Carolina has spent lots of time getting the fight scene to look good and realistic too. She is playing Lady Macbeth in the performance.
“I am a witch in the play” says Alex “I find it creepy because the way that the character moves and speaks.”
 
Performing alongside Year 7 are GCSE Drama Students from Year 10 who are working on Romeo and Juliet; as well as a group who are reciting sonnets in three languages.
 
Audience members are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets, drinks will be available. The performance starts at 6.30pm and tickets are available now.
