In readiness for Geography paper 3 year 11s recently went through their resource booklet. The issue under investigation is tropical rainforests. The group are allowed the resource booklet in advance of the exam, because there is a lot of content to get through. We discuss the varied resources (maps, graphs, photos, information) and try to work out what the main issue is.

Tropical rainforests are an extremely important resource for us all globally, and there are many reasons that humans exploit them. However, this causes a whole host of problems that we then have to deal with. What do you think? Should we use the rainforests despite the costs?
