The North Yorkshire Moors are renowned not only for its rugged beauty, but also its harsh winter weather. The latter of which was experienced by fourteen students, Mr Edge and Justin (The Gappy!) on Sunday the 29th of November, as they embarked on the weekend’s paintball trip for a shot of adrenalin and action before the Christmas Holiday.

The group not only had to fight off hostile forces but driving wind and rain as well.

The battalion of paint strewn soldiers returned to school in the mid-afternoon, telling tales of daring raids, crawling through mud and rampant head shots, though Nigel’s efforts won’t trouble the laundry staff!

Alvaro deserves a special mention for bravery above and beyond the call of duty, as he refused to surrender even when under heavy fire from point blank range, a choice he has since regretted.

All in all a great day was had by all and special thanks must go to logistics co-ordinator Mr Edge and the team at Battlezone Paintball for organising a very enjoyable day out.
