Having already had a pancake for dessert after lunch on Shrove Tuesday, the Mulgrave boys (and Ollie) were still up for more after prep. Eight mixtures and two hours of frying pancakes later, the boys would probably still have had more! The demonstrative cooking and pancake flipping skills displayed by Justin and Mr Edge had a lot to be desired, but did provide a lot of amusement and entertainment! Many had to catch their pancakes first – some didn’t quite manage to! It was certainly the staff that made the most mess!! (sorry!)
The Year 7 group also displayed their pancake mixing ability in their tutor group assembly this week. With chef Olivia Coates, skilled pancake tossing Jimena and fabulous reading from the others, they demonstrated just how it should be done. Perhaps Justin should take hints from them for next year?
