Wendy Bulmer, Fyling Hall’s Riding Mistress, took part in a national style jumping event recently, held at Lincoln Showground. Wendy and one of the school’s horses C’est Si Bon (known to the Fyling Hall pupils as Cecil!) came a very distinguished 25th out of 105 entrants. This placement is even more impressive when taking into account that in order to take part in this event, Wendy had to qualify in the regional competition, where she was awarded the highest placed individual in Style Jumping.
Fyling Hall School pupils are very lucky to have Wendy (who holds both the British Horse Society and Riding Club Instructor’s Qualification) as their Riding Mistress. All students, both daily and boarders, are given the opportunity to be instructed by Wendy, no matter what the skill level. The school’s stables and 8 horses can provide riding lessons for pupils during weekends, after school (light permitting) and in one of their games lessons if they opt for it.
Well done Wendy – we’re very proud of you!
