What I like most about being a boarder at Fyling Hall School is our family like atmosphere in the boarding community. When I first arrived, my two roommates welcomed me heartwarmingly and we bonded instantly. In the girls house we have girls nights every week, we do face masks, watch movies and chit chat, its super chill. We can spend our free time in the common rooms playing card games and listening to music. During the day we can go for a walk around the school grounds or to Robin Hoods Bay, and in the evenings the sports hall is open for badminton, table tennis and whatever sports we want to play.

The landscape around here is very beautiful, and I can even see the sun rise and set in the sea from my window. On the weekends we do trips to Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby or Scarborough where we can explore the town and buy ice cream and fish ‘n chips on the beach. I really enjoy boarding at Fyling Hall School. I love our family like atmosphere, and I will never forget the memories I’ve made here.
