Form 2 are my fun, energetic and hard-working class and this did not stop during our two weeks of home schooling. We start our day with an interactive online maths lesson, followed by an independent task. After a short break the children are back for our English online lessons, boggle was a firm favourite to play, then the children would work on their independent English written task.

Our afternoons are made up of stories being read, art activities, Kahoot’s, internet research on our Space topic, French learning games set by Ms Hornung and we cannot forget our fancy-dress Friday Quiz afternoon!

Although we are looking forward to getting back in the classroom, home schooling has not interrupted our learning. Personally, it was important to take any pressure off parents and carers. This is something as a team we achieved. Parents feedback was lovely, and it was nice for them see how well their children are doing.

We have had great fun; one year 4 boy said “I love home learning because I still get to problem solve with my friends”. It is amazing to see all the wonderful work each evening and being able to give feedback on their hard work.
