Miss Stewart was especially busy in the run up to Christmas. Not only was she preparing for the Carol Service, Junior Production and OAP visits, but she was also asked to sing backing vocals on a new album written and performed by John P Taylor, of Mirage Recording Studios in New Marske.
Miss Stewart and John first sang together in summer season at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round at Scarborough as teenagers – coincidentally for Anna Ayckbourn’s Grandpa, Sir Alan Ayckbourn – so this was the first time they had worked together for a LOT of years!!
The album – ‘Realtime’ – was released on Friday, and a preview of two of the tracks can be heard via the following interview link at Zetland FM Radio, where it was broadcast for the first time on Thursday.
