Nine new students have started in Year 7 at Fyling Hall School. Cameron, Aspen, Emie, Ola, Eve, Luke, Cari, Joe (Chip) and Arthur are all very happy in their new school, even if they are tired too.

They are enjoying horse riding, being free at break and of course the tuck shop. Other highlights include football club and music where it’s girls vs boys in a band off.

Cameron has learnt to play over 400 songs with the 4 chords of pop in music. “I just really like music!”

Aspen says “Games lessons are best, because they train you to do well in sports.”

Joe went to the Jump 360 trip at the weekend he says “It was really fun and bouncy  I got to know people from the Junior school and the older pupils like the 6th form”

Cari from Madrid, Spain, has enjoyed the choir. “I like singing and I loved the music too.”

All the students are trying something new. Eve has really enjoyed horse riding and Luke’s football skills are now epic after football club.

Arthur and Emie are looking forward to drama lessons, after they missed a lesson for a trip to Whitby Abbey. “The trip was amazing, it was so much fun even if it rained” said Ola.

Miss Rowland, their tutor, is proud of all the hard work the pupils have put in already. They have settled into the school and we look forward to seeing what they get up to next.
