Children in the Swallows maths group in the Junior School recently had fun constructing scale models of a Hogwarts bedroom. The task involved choosing from a list of items which might be found in a bedroom at Hogwarts, working out the dimensions for the scale model from the real life dimensions, and making the items from squared paper. The boys’ bedroom featured a large widescreen television, whilst the girls opted for a smaller screen and more storage for clothes. Both bedrooms featured an owl cage, essential for any budding magician!
