Its that time of year again and the Friends of Fyling Hall (PTA) are excited to be hosting yet another Summer Fayre. They always prove to be such great fun! The Summer Fayre will be held on Wednesday 28th June at 4pm in the Stack Yard. You can expect games and stalls, including popcorn and candy floss, tombola, tin can alley, human fruit machine, gelato, pimms and lemonade, sponge throwing and more.
Any donations of tombola prizes will be most appreciated. Good condition used items can work for this and the children love chocolate, teddies and sweets!
Anyone that can lend a hand at the school fayre, or serving tea and coffee on the morning of speech day please do get in touch with the PTA.
As the old saying goes ‘Many Hands make light work” and it’s a lovely opportunity to chat to other parents and see the children having fun. Even if you can only spare a small amount of time the PTA would love to hear from you
At the Summer Fayre the PTA are launching our first School Uniform stall. We all understand now more than ever we need to recycle – so lets start with our uniforms. Please bring your old uniform/sports kit washed and folded into school by 26th June.
Grand Summer Summer Draw
The summer draw is coming along nicely and tickets will be going on sale next week. Each child will be given 2 booklets (total 10 tickets) and if you require more please see Mrs Blackie in the office. Please return all Stubbs with payment to the office too.
Again if you have any luxury food/drink items or have any donations for the Grand Summer Draw please bring in to the office or get in touch via email pta@fylinghall.org.
This year we are raising funds for a new facility in memory of Mrs White soon to be revealed so watch this space!
