Life saving lesson3 On Tuesday, Year 6 pupils visited Scarborough Hospital as part of the Injury Minimization Programme for Schools (I.M.P.S.). During the visit they had the opportunity to tour the Emergency Department and to familiarise themselves with the hospital and equipment used. We learned about accident prevention and basic first aid procedures, and were also taught life-saving skills and the management of choking. All of the children gained a lot from the visit, and we would like to thank the I.M.P.S. trainers for a very informative morning and Mrs Locker for driving and accompanying us.
