Latin will make a welcome return to Fyling Hall this term – not as a classroom subject but as an activity. Peter Turton, an experienced Latin teacher, will be offering lessons to older juniors and anyone in the senior school who wants to try their hand at the language of Cicero, Virgil, Julius Caesar, Tacitus, Augustine and Jerome. A great subject to study for its own sake, but also a huge advantage for students of English and Modern Languages.
