This week Form 2 pupils enjoyed a trip to Barley Hall in York, as part of their Tudor history studies. All were dressed in Tudor costume and looked very authentic against the background of the beautiful 15th century hall. The day was spent living as a Tudor and learning about daily life. Activities included Tudor maths, performing a Tudor dance, writing with quill pens and soap-making – messy but fun! Many thanks to Mr Squirrell for driving the minibus and for accompanying the children during the day.
