Last week the Junior pupils took part in their annual swimming gala, organised by our Senior Sports staff . The children were most enthusiastic and put 100% effort into their races, cheered on by appreciative parents and friends. Even the beginner swimmers in the ‘little pool’ were keen to compete. All our swimmers showed super stamina and endurance, and it was evident that they had all made great improvements in their performance in the pool. Congratulations to the winning team, Endeavour, who gained 199 points. Commiserations to Resolution – there’s always Sports Day…
Gabriel Hodgson (Y6) has gained further rosettes and awards at local shows with his pony Barfield Bradley. He has achieved considerable success in show-jumping events against older and more experienced riders, and has impressed his trainer with his positive attitude and commitment. Many thanks to our riding teacher, Wendy Bulmer, for her skill and expertise in supporting Gabriel.
