On Saturday the first team girls’ hockey played their first hockey match against Ampleforth. For Fanny, Karolina, Lea and Paula this was their first ever match! Thy all played exceptionally, in particular Fanny who managed to stop a goal from happening. In the first half Sharron managed to score an excellent goal. This was quickly followed by a goal scored by myself. All was fine until half time when we realised an error had been made, we had been playing the under 15s team. A mix up had been made that meant our under 15s had played the first team and their under 15s had played our first team! Despite this mix up everyone played well and the final score was 4-1 to Fyling Hall. Due to this excellent play there was no woman of the match.
