History is not just something that goes on in classrooms, libraries and archives! Here year 7 pupils get experience of history first hand, with the chance to examine the vast Abbey ruins, appreciate the wealth of artistic and architectural achievement, that monasteries such as these represented in their heyday, and consider the different types of historical evidence, that surrounds us on all sides. A good introduction to their senior school studies, and a chance for a bit of friendship building! Well done year 7!
