Halloween came early to Fyling Hall School. With Halloween falling during Half Term, this year’s annual Halloween Party was held on the last night of term. Arrangements were led by our Head Girls, Sophie Asprey and Maria Gerteis, with much help from our Senior Prefects and the rest of the Sixth Form.
The night started with a fancy-dress competition with prizes awarded for the best dressed. With winners announced early in the evening, and the spooky ghost trail commenced. Sixth Formers led small groups, who did their utmost to keep their wits as they traversed the woods and out-buildings. They then returned to the dining room and barn for apple bobbing and other games to keep the Halloween Party going.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Combat Stress, a veterans’ mental health charity supported by Help for Heroes. Thank you to all who came and made this spooky event happen! Happy Halloween!!
