Last Thursday saw students come to school dressed up (£1) or not dressed up (£2).  The evening party, mostly organised by our Head Boy and Girl, had students completing a Halloween Taskmaster, taking a ghost walk and of course, enjoying lots of food.  There was also the prize for the best fancy dress.  In just one day we raised over £140  . . . thank you!

And what will we do with this?  Proceeds will go towards Movember, a men’s health charity which includes a focus on mental wellbeing.  You will recall that as part of our learning to speak openly about Mental Health, Fyling Hall has joined the Movember movement to raise funds and awareness for men’s health.  We are halfway to our target of £500, but time is running out, so we still need your help.

In addition to our nine willing and committed staff members are you ready to don a moustache this Movember in aid of the charity?  Even if not you can still support the cause.  It’s as simple as registering on the Movember website and then link your account to join the Fyling Hall team.  If this link does not work, please search for Fyling Hall under Team of you Account. Share your account on social media and at work, spreading the word and starting the conversation about men’s health. Together we can make a difference!
