On Tuesday 7th October, Fyling Hall School hosted a rugby development session for pupils from Fyling Hall, Eskdale and Caedmon. Pupils from Fyling Hall’s 1st XV rugby squad led the session.
The aim was to introduce as many of the basic skills required to play rugby. These skills included: passing, tackling, ball retention and rucking.
The pupils then put their newly learnt skills to the test in a series of 10 a side games. The session was a great success with all 40 pupils enjoying taking part. Many thanks to the 1st XV boys for running an excellent session.
