Fyling Hall School is delighted to announce the remarkable achievements of our A-level students this year.
A-level Results Highlights:
- 43% of papers graded A*
- 57% of papers graded A*–A
- 79% of papers graded A*–C
- 100% pass rate
Our students have demonstrated outstanding academic success, achieving top grades across a wide range of subjects. This reflects the hard work and dedication of both our students and staff, who have relentlessly pursued excellence to ensure every individual reaches their full potential.
Headmaster Mr Steven Allen commented, “We are incredibly proud of our students and their accomplishments. Their determination and perseverance have truly paid off. At Fyling Hall, we believe that education in a supportive and nurturing environment fosters both academic success and the growth of confident young adults ready to take on the world.”
Head of Sixth Form Mr Chris Thomas added, “I am immensely proud of our 2024 cohort. These results have opened doors to the world’s leading universities and career pathways. I commend our students for their academic dedication and the outstanding efforts of their expert teachers in guiding them to this significant milestone.”
University of Cambridge
Among our top achievers, Tomas R stands out with 4 A*s in Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics, and Physics, securing his place at Pembroke College, Cambridge University, to study Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology. Mr Allen remarked, “I still remember the day Tomas joined our Reception Class, and to see him leave after 14 years to attend Cambridge is something we are incredibly proud of. It is remarkable that after his exceptional success at GCSE earning 12 grade 9’s he also completed his A-levels without dropping a grade. These results are a testament to the dedication Tomas and his teachers have shown from the very beginning of his education.”
Russell Group Universities
This year, all our students secured a place at their first-choice universities, including prestigious courses such as Aerospace Engineering at Bristol, Computer Science at Plymouth, and Chemical Engineering at Queen Mary University of London.
Beyond Academics
Beyond academic achievements, our students have excelled as leaders and role models, supporting each other and the community, winning competitions, and raising funds for charity. Their contributions in concerts, sports, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme highlight their resilience, creativity, and leadership. We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated staff and supportive parents for their role in guiding our students to these impressive results.
We wish our students every success as they embark on their next steps, proud of all they have accomplished.
