Last week the Friends of Fyling Hall (PTA) organised a wonderful Christmas Fayre enjoyed by our seniors, sixth form, juniors and many parents. We cannot thank them enough for this festive afternoon. The raffle was drawn at the fayre raising an amazing £1500 which will be used to directly benefit the pupils so thank you to everyone that donated prizes, sold tickets and bought tickets. A special mention to Denise the team organiser for the event, Ann Lou, Beth, Safiye and all the lovely parents who kindly give up their time to run this and other PTA events. Save the date for a Night at the Races on Wednesday, 7th February this promises to be a fun packed night for parents and families with lots of prizes to be won. This event will raise the final amount for our new classroom with kitchen facilities.
Other dates for your diary include:
Monday 15th January – 8.30am onwards Coffee morning, bake sale and uniform sale. We welcome any donations of baked goods and invite all parents to join us for a chat a coffee and a cake! Pupils will visit the bake sale during the morning.
Wednesday 17th January – 7.30pm AGM in the School library – all are welcome.
The ever popular Chocolate Bingo will be the following later on with the date TBC.
