Form 3 was briefly transformed into a Greek taverna this week, when the children took part in a Greek inspired food tasting session.
We have been learning about Greece today as part of our Ancient Greece history topic, and the children had the chance to taste some typically Greek foods including: houmous, taramasalata, olives, stuffed vine leaves and tzatziki.
The tasting session was enjoyed by all, with the feta cheese going down particularly well, although the black olives were not to everybody’s taste!
“The olives were horrible. Never again!” – Lilly-Belle Whiteley
“The taramasalata was fishy, cooling and refreshing.” – Elfie Field
