Form 2 pupils have enjoyed working with clay and have produced some fabulous dinosaur models. Some of the pupils also went a step further and dug up clay from the school grounds, which they then moulded into primitive pots. These they fired in a kiln, with surprisingly successful results!

Our local clay, when fired, is a terracotta colour and quite sandy in texture, but it makes quite a sturdy vessel.
