On a gloriously sunny autumn afternoon the lower junior school took full advantage of the wonderful school grounds and went on a nature walk. The children picked apples and blackberries, clambered over
trees, gates and stiles, raced around the fields and generally had a fantastic time! Here is what one pupil wrote: “On Friday we went on a nature walk. Miss Edwards gave us a bucket each that we collected
treasure in. First we went to collect apples in Mr Stephen’s garden. Then we went into a field. We had a race in the field. I came 5th. Then we picked some blackberries. It was a lovely walk. I enjoyed it. ”
