Every week our youngest pupils in Form 1 have a 30 minute French lesson with Ms Hornung. They sing songs, learn poems and act out little sketches. This half term they decided to work on a play based on The Enormous Turnip, which they could perform for some of the senior school pupils and Mrs Freer.

Some of the pupils who watched it were very impressed and were complimentary about their performance:

Sophie said ‘they are even cuter when they speak French’.

Ben and Luke both said ‘they looked as if they were having lots of fun’.

Jenna was amazed at how clear their French was and said ‘they must have been working hard on pronunciation’.
