On Tuesday, our fire fighter friends from Whitby Blue Watch came to present some prizes to our road safety competition winners. Ewan Wormald and Eve Harrison were thrilled with their prizes and led the questions to the fire fighters. The children were then delighted to discover that the fire engines had also come to school and spent nearly an hour exploring them.
The whole Junior School enjoyed the morning and were even treated to blue flashing lights and a siren as the Blue Watch engines left the school. Ewan thought the morning was “Awesome!”
