Last Monday the whole school took part in a house run. It is spectacular event with runners across the school taking part.
The race saw pupils, teachers and even a dog galloping side by side. Although everyone did well, special recognition was given to Ross Archer who kept pace with our cross country machine, Mr Edge. Ross was our surprise senior boy’s winner.
We are lucky to have many runners who excel at running on a regular basis, (notably Luca and Rueben) but Monday wasn’t just about those who found it easy, it was about those who find running hard. Many pushed themselves outside of their comfort zones in a combined effort to win a house competition. That’s what Monday was all about, that’s what Fyling Hall is about: trying hard towards a goal.
