Mr Instone set up his suite of commodore VIC 20s (5 in all) at our first Science and Technology Society computer coding session. First students saw some exciting 8-bit games and then dived into the principles of coding in BASIC, creating programs using loops, arrays, variables and strings. The goal is that we’ll be able to program our own apps and games and publish them on the internet learning different computer languages and machine-code assembler on the way.
