Fyling Hall‘s next ski trip destination and dates have been announced. Our next ski trip will take place 13th – 19th December in the Italian resort of, Bardonecchia. Totally revamped to host the 2006 Olympics, Bardonecchia is now a top-class ski resort. The resort offers excellent facilities at a high-altitude ski resort, without all the hustle and bustle of some other alpine resorts. The town, on the French-Italian border, is not a purpose-built ski resort, so it has retained its alpine charm. Plus, Bardonecchia boasts the friendly, tranquil atmosphere you would expect to find in a historic mountain village, which really suits the needs of school ski groups. Bardonecchia has an excellent snow record and, as the slopes are predominantly north-facing, snow cover is consistently conserved.
This is sure to be a great addition to our Enrichment Programme and therefore, very much hope that your child can take part. Even if they have not skied before, it is a great opportunity! If your child has any questions about taking part, please encourage him/her to either have a chat with any who took part in the last trip and/or myself.
