Put that light out!

As part of their History studies this term, F2/3 in the Juniors had an exciting trip to Eden Camp. This was a POW camp during the Second World War, and the huts now house a wide range of exhibits and reconstructions. The children found the ‘Blitz’ hut very authentic, and whenever the air-raid warning sounded they were anxious to get into the Anderson shelters. However, spirits were raised by singing some jolly wartime songs and, thankfully, we all survived the experience! Thanks to Mrs Richardson for driving the minibus, and to Matron Stamp and Mrs Harris for accompanying the trip.
