The Junior pupils had a very successful two weeks at the Eskdale Festival in Whitby. They took part in the Spoken Word classes and participated in a wide range of the Music classes as well. The children worked extremely hard – memorising words, perfecting their performances and rehearsing all their pieces on a multitude of instruments – and they have all gained a great deal from presenting their work to the public on the stage at the Spa, as well as enjoying the performances of other schools. The staff are very proud of all their efforts, and also delighted with the pupils’ behaviour whilst they were out of school.
Many thanks to our drivers Mr Coates and Mrs Spagnuolo. Thank you as well to Miss Stewart for sensitive piano accompaniment for the School Choir.
