Many congratulations to Connie, Jimena and Olivia, doing Fyling Hall School proud as part of Durham County Hockey Player Pathway!  Over the past few months these three have shown true dedication to the game.   With early drives to Durham and Leeds every Sunday morning, the girls completed six training sessions and four competition days, having been selected for Durham’s England Hockey Academy Centre.

Their and the team’s efforts earned them a place in the final tournament.  By beating North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Humberside, the final matched Durham against West Yorkshire, Cheshire and Manchester.  Whilst Manchester won overall, the games were close, and it was a fantastic experience.  What’s more, all three girls all been invited back to represent Durham next season without having to qualify.  Well done!
