On Wednesday afternoon the Junior School took to the woods for an afternoon of den building. It was organised to raise more money for Save the Children who are helping the earthquake victims in Nepal, a charity very close to the children’s hearts.

It was a gloriously sunny afternoon as we set off up the track. The children were very keen to get started! Tip toeing between the bluebells the children found their ideal spot and starting collecting twigs and in some cases, huge logs for their dens. Mr Allen visited the pupils and was impressed with their building skills. It was a hugely enjoyable afternoon and the children all worked well together and had great fun. As you can see from the pictures below they made some wonderful dens, not exactly for all weathers, but impressive none the less!

Thank you to our very generous parents for supporting us again.
