Aaron Preston in year 8 continues to enjoy great success in cycling. He had a wonderful day at the Tees Valley School Games in March. Eight other children attended representing various sports as invited Future Champions. Some 500 – 600 children participated in Rugby, Netball, Table Tennis, Tri Golf and Wheelchair Basketball.
The games took place in two venues Polham Hall School and The Dolphin Centre. The invited guests, Mayor, Headmasters and Future Champions were taken on a tour of the venues to meet the participants. After lunch the Future Champions were invited to participate in games of their choice. Aaron chose wheelchair basketball and acted as linesman, participated in a game and presented medals to successful teams. Another highlight was having his photograph taken with Gemma Collis of the 2012 British Olympic Fencing Team.
