Year 6 pupils recently attended the annual ‘Crucial Crew’ event at the Army Reserve Centre in Scarborough. Crucial Crew is a multi-agency event and during their visit the children took part in a carousel of workshops covering different aspects of personal safety, such as road safety, safety on the beach and what to do in the event of a fire. All of the children responded really well to the scenarios presented to them and learned a lot, and Eve and Arthur even got to dress up as RNLI lifeguards and pose on a jet ski! We would like to thank Alan Bruce for organising the event and Mr Mayne for accompanying us.
